Study Pet ("Study Pet", "we", "us", or "our") is a focus-timer and virtual-pet application. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app processes, why it is processed, where it is stored, and the choices available to you.
This policy applies to the Study Pet mobile application for iOS and Android. It does not replace the privacy notices of Apple, Google, Supabase, Firebase, or Adapty.
Study Pet stores the information needed to provide its timer, progress, and customization features. This may include:
We do not ask you to provide your real name, email address, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or precise location to use the app.
To preserve your Study Pet data across supported installations, the app creates and uses an anonymous Supabase account. The app associates cloud data with a pseudonymous Supabase user ID, not with a profile containing your name or email address.
When cloud sync is available, we store a backup of the app state described above in Supabase. On Android, the backup may also contain an App Set ID and platform value to help recover an existing cloud profile after a reinstall or data clear. The app stores the session credential used for this anonymous account in the device's secure storage: iOS Keychain or Google Play services Block Store on Android.
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how people use Study Pet and to improve the app. The events currently sent include screen views and high-level interactions such as completed focus sessions, shop or pet-unlock actions, paywall views, subscription or coin-pack purchase outcomes, restore-purchase outcomes, language changes, and review-prompt interactions.
These events may include product identifiers, focus duration, counts, result states, and app or device information made available by Firebase. We do not intentionally send the content of your focus-session notes, your pet name, or your complete cloud snapshot to Firebase Analytics.
Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment-card number. We use Adapty to retrieve product information, present paywalls, process purchase and restore results, and determine whether a premium entitlement is active.
If you enable notifications, Study Pet schedules local device notifications for timer and reminder features. The app does not use a remote push-notification service for these reminders.
The app also requests artwork from a public Supabase Storage bucket. As with any network request, our service providers may receive technical request information such as IP address, device or browser characteristics, and timestamps.
We do not sell personal information. Study Pet does not display third-party advertising in the current version of the app.
We share information only as needed to operate the app and provide the services described in this policy.

We may also disclose information if required by law or when necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of Study Pet, its users, or others.
Most Study Pet data is stored locally on your device. Cloud-sync data remains in Supabase while the anonymous account and associated cloud record remain active, unless it is deleted in response to a valid deletion request or we no longer need it to operate the service. Purchase records and subscription information are retained by the relevant app store and Adapty under their own retention practices.
Uninstalling the app removes locally stored app data from that device, subject to your operating system's behavior. Uninstalling does not by itself guarantee deletion of a cloud backup, purchase history, or data held by third-party providers.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal information.
To make a privacy or cloud-data deletion request, email pomodorotimer64@gmail.com. We may need limited information from you to locate the relevant anonymous account and verify the request.
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers and applicable law for international transfers.
Study Pet is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at pomodorotimer64@gmail.com so we can review and address the request.
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. We will post the updated version and revise the "Last updated" date. If a change requires notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it in the manner required by that law.
